My story is that a couple of years ago I was focused on making a living by building spec homes for sale. Running in circles on that daily tread mill of earning a living, being a husband and father of three.
On December 15, 2007 I received a phone call from my doctor who said (and I will paraphrase) that "I was going to die!"... at least that was how I translated what he coldly said: "you need a bone marrow transplant." It brought me to my knees. I prayed to God and simply cried out in desperation these two words: " Help me!" I started to question what life was all about and what is my purpose and mission in life. He has guided me to where I am today.
Instead of listening to the whispers of God, I needed a hit on the head with a sledge hammer to change my life around. I am now very grateful for that phone call because I am living in the joy of my purpose and mission.
